OverviewThe research, carried out in association with buy.at, is based on an online survey carried out in August and September 2007. Close to 100 UK agency respondents took part. This report follows our Affiliate Marketing Merchants Report which was published in September 2007.
About this GuideHighlights from the findings include:. -) Affiliate marketing has become a crucial area of business for many digital agencies, with 85% of agencies saying that they now manage more affiliate marketing for clients than they did two years ago.
-) On average, this channel now represents 20% of turnover for those agencies surveyed.
-) Affiliate Marketing is rated by agencies as the most cost-effective channel for customer acquisition, with 96% saying that it is either ‘very cost effective’ (60%) or ‘quite cost effective’ (36%).
