SAN FRANCISCO – July 9th, 2014 – Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management, today announced it will offer enhanced social media management capabilities to its customers with the introduction of Sitecore® Social Powered by KomfoTM. Sitecore has acquired a majority stake in Komfo, a Danish social media marketing and community engagement application provider. Sitecore’s investment will extend Komfo’s presence in global markets and forms the basis of Sitecore’s social media product roadmap.
Sitecore Social is a complete social media marketing suite that allows marketers to listen, understand, respond, amplify, and publish content in social channels at scale. Sitecore is integrating Komfo’s data-driven social listening and management tool with its end-to-end customer experience platform to deliver on the vision of personalised, multichannel marketing. Now, marketers around the world will have access to enhanced social media management capabilities, including Facebook content and advertising amplification, which empowers enterprises to own the conversation across all online and offline channels.
