Integrated agency Mr B & Friends has designed and launched www.chinesewithmike.com a new transactional website, with support materials, for client John Murray Press Learning, an imprint of John Murray Press.
The website is the publisher’s online platform to support “Chinese with Mike” a brand new video-based approach to learning Mandarin led by Mike Hainzinger aka Mike Lǎoshī (Teacher Mike). The site supports seasons 1 & 2 of Chinese with Mike which launches in the ‘Teach Yourself Languages’ range in July 2014 – a textbook and video combination.
Hainzinger’s unique approach to teaching, from his garage, with bandana, dodgy mullet and loud Hawaiian shirt is reminiscent of Wayne’s World on so many levels. Not surprisingly, this strange visual cocktail, when put together with a truly unique teaching method, has made him a YouTube sensation with over 1 million followers since 2010.
