Leapfrogg, the digital marketing agency for premium brands and retailers, has won ‘Best Use of PR in a Search Campaign’ at the European Search Awards 2014.

The award-winning ‘Bride of the Year’ campaign launched last year on behalf of Leapfrogg’s client Wedding Rings Direct. The campaign was aimed at raising brand awareness and boosting social media engagement for the business, whilst also building editorial links to support a wider search strategy.

Leapfrogg triumphed over considerable competition from five agencies and seven campaigns to win the coveted award, further demonstrating Leapfrogg’s expertise in integrating public relations and search.

On winning the award, Leapfrogg’s Commercial Director, Ben Potter, said “We are absolutely delighted with this award, not least because of the quality of competing entries. A special mention goes to our Senior Social Media and Content Consultant, Alice Reeves, who came up with the creative and delivered a great campaign that far exceeded targets and expectations.”

Now in its third year, The European Search Awards celebrate the very best in SEO, PPC, Digital and Content Marketing in Europe, and are judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts. The awards, which are organised by events agency Don’t Panic, are open to companies based worldwide who are delivering exceptional work in Europe.
