Leading villa holiday specialist James Villa Holidays recorded the highest ever monthly affiliate sales in its nine years history, in January 2014. Ending 104% up year-on-year the travel brand has seen a spectacular increase in revenue due to the comprehensive campaign management from digital media agency, 7thingsmedia.
7thingsmedia inherited a mature affiliate programme – initially launched in 2005 – in October 2012. Since then, the agency set upon restructuring the strategy to make James Villa Holidays the first choice for affiliates within the travel sector.
After consolidating three tracking platforms into one, the agency set about hosting exclusive events for its publishers and implementing individual year round content incentive plans for each key publisher. This meticulous approach reaped rewards for the leading villa holiday specialist with revenue from their top 10 publishers increasing by 117% whilst revenue from content websites overall increased by 77%.
