Southampton International Airport Ltd appointed Gibe Digital in November 2013 to redesign and redevelop their website. The new website went live on Friday 28th February 2014 following an intensive development cycle.

Gibe were appointed after a competitive pitch process and given the stiff task of getting the website ready within 3 months, over the Christmas period.

The website runs on the latest version of Umbraco content management system and integrates with the airports travel and parking sites for flight, hotel and parking bookings. The new website is fully responsive and provides a great user experience for mobile, tablet and desktop users.

The site experience and content has been streamlined, focusing on the key user’s journeys of the airport target audience, allowing users to quickly find arrivals and departures information, how to get to and from the airport and parking information. The new site also reinforces the airports “breeze through” proposition with updated branding and imagery further enhancing the user experience.

In addition to the site’s redevelopment Gibe are providing on-going digital marketing support for the Southampton Airport Marketing team to help drive digital revenues and improve the user experience in 2014 and beyond.
