A new mobile application for iPhone and Android smartphones, RPO Rewards, has been developed and released by digital marketing solutions provider KODIME on behalf of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO).

The new app, RPO Rewards, now available for both iPhone and Android platforms, provides the RPO with a comprehensive solution to market, promote and sell tickets for a wide range of concerts, in venues including London's Cadogan Hall, Fairfield Halls in Croydon and Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.

The app combines concert listings with mobile ticketing and a loyalty scheme, rewarding registered users for their ticket purchases and social interactions such as sharing their chosen event with their friends on Facebook and Twitter.

Uniquely, the app also acts as the container for the mobile ticket, using QR code technology to enable ticket buyers to easily gain access to RPO performances.

A built-in loyalty scheme rewards users for ticket purchases by allocating points which can be redeemed for prizes such as Spotify and Amazon vouchers and CDs.

A complete smartphone proposition to find out about RPO concerts, incentivising viral marketing and enabling easy to use ticketing, the RPO Rewards app makes full use of the mobile channel to engage with and expand the audience.
