International development organisation calls on DBD Media (www.dbdmedia.co.uk) to increase digital profile via PPC & SEO
VSO, the international development organisation that fights poverty through volunteers, has today announced its appointment of search and social media agency, DBD Media, as the organisation’s search marketing partner in the UK. DBD Media won the account after a competitive pitch.
DBD Media’s initial task is to dovetail use of highly targeted PPC (pay-per-click) advertising and SEO (search engine optimisation) strategies to increase donations and candidate registrations. The agency has been briefed to reach a specific number of donations and registrations within a 12-month period.
VSO is a development organisation that helps overcome poverty through volunteers in 33 of the world’s poorest countries. Volunteering overseas with VSO gives people a chance to play an active role in the fight against poverty, using their skills where they are most needed.
The organisation urgently needs to recruit professionals with the right skills to work with partners in poor and marginalised communities, including midwives, paediatricians, teachers and people from other professions including IT. Digital marketing plays a key role in attracting new volunteers and promoting its work to donors and supporters.
