Having recently celebrated their first 45 years in business, Tamworth’s Nissan main dealer Polesworth Garage is embracing the future with the appointment of organic traffic specialist Safeserps.
The Warwickshire-based agency is designing and implementing a comprehensive programme to drive new visitors to Polesworth’s various online platforms, with the objective of getting the second-generation family firm right at the top of web-search rankings.
Polesworth Garage was founded in 1967 by Bill Newbold, father of current owner Martin, who says everyone at the dealership is very excited at this new development.
“In keeping with our spirit of continuous business improvement, we have identified Safeserps as a very valuable partner to help us take Polesworth Garage to the next level.”
Martin adds, “We’ve been aware for a while that we need to take advantage of the potential for attracting new customers via the web, and this is something which many motor dealers are already doing really well.”
Polesworth has been a Nissan franchise since 1985, and has constantly evolved to meet the needs of its ever-expanding customer base, also displaying well over 200 used cars on its Staffordshire site.
“We have kept the wheels of the Midlands turning for almost half a century now, and the most pleasing aspect is seeing whole families follow in their father’s and mother’s footsteps – by walking through our showroom door to buy another vehicle,” added the 46-year-old company boss.
As well as promoting sales of new Nissans, servicing, body repairs, finance and rentals, the Polesworth campaign also includes positioning the ground-breaking Great Wall range of vehicles, to build up brand awareness and spread the word about the remarkable value that these Far-Eastern motors represent.
“They have been around a long time in their own country, and are set to bring a revolution to these shores,” added Martin. “The Steed is the first all Chinese-built vehicle to be sold in the UK.”
Safeserps director Tony Shemmans says there are exciting challenges ahead in the trade, and one which Polesworth should be able to meet head-on.
“As more and more people select their new and used cars online, dealers need to have a really visible web-presence if they are going to get their share of the market. We are bringing our proven expertise into Martin’s already substantial business to ensure that it gets found every time a customer is searching for any of the cars and services they offer.”
All in all, the future’s bright for the new partnership, with both Polesworth Garage and Safeserps looking to celebrate the former’s 50th anniversary together in style!
