Clickstream and Pilot Software collaborate for easy route to Web channel performance management
Gives customers a reference solution that integrates web data with performance management software ideal for advanced web channel initiatives
Clickstream Technologies, which provides software that captures data about user behaviour on websites and other web-based interfaces, has signed a European partnership agreement with Pilot Software, through master distributor partner ISSEL. Under the agreement, ISSEL will integrate Pilot’s web channel performance management solution with Clickstream’s Datasherpa product.
The agreement enables Clickstream’s Datasherpa customers to easily leverage Pilot’s web channel performance management solutions to unlock the full strategic value of their web data through a full-featured web channel performance management solution. This includes scorecards, dashboards and reports to manage their resources and ensure activities are aligned towards the achievement of strategic objectives, plus advanced web data collection technology to ensure that business decisions are based on reliable information.
Clickstream’s Datasherpa software automates the collection of data about user activity on browser-based digital channels such as websites, intranets, extranets and web-based applications. It provides more comprehensive and more accurate data than any other technology, respects users’ privacy, and feeds data to leading databases and reporting tools in near-real time.
Pilot Software’s performance management systems enable businesses to identify and communicate their business objectives and then track performance against targets and performance indicators. Working from these business objectives and performance indicators ensures businesses receive actionable information, which contrasts with the approach of mining volumes of data to chance upon nuggets of insight.
“Working with Clickstream complements Pilot’s capabilities very well,” said Colin Cooper, director of ISSEL. “Vital to our customers’ need to align execution with strategy is the ability to incorporate data from multiple sources to quantify activity and achievement. Because Clickstream only focuses on data collection, the joint offering gives customers the kind of specific, high-value data collection needed for advanced Web channel performance management initiatives.”
“Nobody collects data for the sake of it – it has to inform decision making,” said Titus Suck, Clickstream’s director of sales and marketing. “Businesses using Datasherpa can be confident that they are basing their decisions on accurate, timely information and Pilot Software helps companies to derive actionable information from the raw data. Clickstream’s focus is on data gathering technologies. Our partnerships with companies such as Pilot Software ensure that customers can choose the most appropriate interface and reporting tool for their business needs.”

Clickstream’s Datasherpa software automates the collection of data about user activity on browser-based digital channels such as websites, intranets, extranets and web-based applications.
