**Ben Regensburger Brings to DoubleClick 15+ Years of European Sales and Marketing Experience**

LONDON: DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq: DCLK), the leading provider of marketing tools for advertisers, direct marketers and Web publishers, today announced the appointment of Ben Regensburger to vice president of sales and account management, EMEA, a newly created executive level position.

Ben brings more than 15 years of European sales and marketing management experience, gained within the media and consumer goods industry, to his new role with DoubleClick. He will oversee sales and account management for prospective and current clients located within Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including Bertelsman, Dixons, FreeServe, T-online and VNU business publications. Ben joins the company from LYCOS Germany, where he was managing director and a member of LYCOS' European Management Board.

Under Ben's leadership, LYCOS Germany's financial results improved significantly, and the German portal developed from a search technology platform to a more diverse offering that combines communication, community and entertainment products. He also contributed significantly to building the pan-European brand equity of LYCOS Europe and led the successful ramp-up of the group's e-commerce business. Before LYCOS, Regensburger was Hugo Boss AG's marketing director, responsible for the group's global marketing activities and license sales. Regensburger also held senior positions at Prinz Magazine, an affiliate of the German publishing group Jahreszeiten Verlag, and Procter & Gamble.
