Keynote Speaker: Ashutosh Pandey, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra First Choice Wheels

Ashutosh Pandey serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mahindra First Choice Wheels, the country’s pre-eminent company in the used vehicles, vehicle marketing and digital solutions ecosystem.

Prior to this, Ashutosh was instrumental in founding and scaling up of Tata CLiQ, the ecommerce venture of the Tata group. Under his leadership, Tata CLiQ developed a differentiated approach to e-commerce, aimed at long term value creation and sustainability of the business.

Ashutosh joined the Tata Group in 1998 through the flagship Tata Administrative Services (TAS), and worked on challenging cross-functional assignments across multiple industries. He launched the Tetley Tea in India, and thereafter moved to agrochemical sector, working as the Head of Marketing of Rallis. After a brief stint thereafter with Tata Communications, he worked with Accenture Consulting, leading the post-merger integration of two of India’s largest spirit companies.

Ashutosh then moved back to the Tata Group, and worked with Indian Hotels Company Limited as the Head of Development. He developed and piloted a new mid-market brand of hotels amongst other assignments during his time with IHCL.

Ashutosh went on to join Landmark, India's leading Leisure and Entertainment retailer and a subsidiary of Trent, as its Chief Operating Officer, leading the business transformation and repositioning the brand for the newer, younger, digitally connected consumer.

Ashutosh is an MBA from FMS Delhi and holds a Civil Engineering Degree. His interests range from reading and yoga to sports to traveling.

I lead e-commerce business in grocery space in Reliance Retail as joint business head in my past assignment. Grocery as a segment is last frontier for online commerce globally and involves lot of intricacies around supply chain management, customer preferences and front end interfaces. We built this business from scratch building technology enabler around steps to ensure a better customer experience in addition to viable unit economics.

I was part of the growth story of Reliance Digital Xpress store, was focused on experiential retailing of technology products.
